Making an Impact: Co-production, Collaborative and Interdisciplinary Research Workshop

FREE workshop for Early Career Academics and Postgraduate Research Students in Business and Management studies

Through panel sessions, Q&As and workshops involving academics at all levels with experience in these areas, we will help PhD students and ECRs understand why these are so important within the HE sector, how to go about becoming more involved in these components of research and to share and learn about best practice examples.

Programme of Events:

9:30-10:00– Registration
10:15-10:30 – Welcome and Introduction
10:30-12:00– Session One Co-production, Collaborative and Interdisciplinary research Panel. This will be a panel session followed by a Q&A with academics from Leeds and Sheffield. The academics will present a case study of a project they have been involved in followed by a discussant led debate which will then be opened up to a Q&A session
12:00-1pm – LUNCH
1:00-2:15 – Session two Impact and grant capture. This will be a workshop session led by the University of Sheffield Impact consultant
2:15- 2:30 – Break
2:30-4pm Session three “Using your research to get involved with Parliament” by Naomi Saint, Parliamentary Outreach Officer
4pm – Networking and Drinks reception
