Description:

Tim Croudace will introduce participants to the general purpose statistical modelling software Mplus, commonly used for latent variable modelling. He will introduce the background to Mplus and use a free demonstration version to illustrate how new users can use this modelling environment to describe data and variables before moving on to its multivariate modelling capabilities, covering Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA), Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA), and regression for categorical and continuous variables.

 

Cost:

Free for WR DTC PhD students (Social Scientists from the Universities of Leeds, York or Sheffield). £15 for students from outside the three White Rose Universities.
