Description:

The workshop aims to provide an introduction to Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) using the software Mplus. It includes a range of tutorials and practical sessions. Participants will actively work through examples to gain first-hand experience in the application of both single-group and multiple-group analyses. Technical details will be kept at a level suitable for someone with no prior knowledge of SEM and Mplus.

We believe in active learning and developing practical skills. Thus, the necessary theoretical introduction will be illustrated with practical examples. The pace of teaching is adjusted to suit the level of the participants. Teaching will be in small groups so that participants can make the most of the teaching. On completion, participants should be able to understand and conduct a variety of structural equation models using Mplus.

Participants should bring their laptop computers with them, and have installed the latest demo version of Mplus from https://www.statmodel.com/demo.shtml before arrival. Lunch is provided throughout the workshop.
