The conference 8th IZA Conference on Labor Market Policy Evaluation is a joint initiative of the Institute for the Study of Labor (IZA) in Bonn, the Institute for Fiscal Studies (IFS) in London and PEPA node of the NCRM. 
 
The conference will start in the morning of October 18 and end in the afternoon of October 19, 2013.  The keynote lecture will be delivered by Costas Meghir (Yale University).

The Program Committee invites submissions for a maximum of 15 presentations from academic researchers doing program evaluation research on policy issues related to the labor market.

Papers that include innovative approaches, structural modeling or methodological contributions are of particular interest.

 

Submission

Please use the conference organisers online application form to submit pdf versions of papers.  The deadline for paper submission is May 25, 2013.

All submissions will be evaluated by the Program Committee and the acceptance decisions will be communicated by June 24, 2013.

 

Funding

Travel expenses and accommodation for one author per paper will be covered according to IZA reimbursement guidelines.
