Breaking new ground: NCRM Phase3 launch (19 October 2011)
NCRM launched the new Phase 3 nodes on Wednesday 19 October 2011 in an evening reception at the Royal Institute for British Architects in London. The reception gathered a large group of people across the social science research community with interests in methods.
Making better use of administrative data in research, NCRM Annual Lecture 2011 (4 May 2011)
Professor Paul Boyle, ESRC Chief Executive proposes in this NCRM Annual Lecture talk that administrative data that is gathered through central and local governments and throughout our everyday transactions, offer a rich resource for researchers. Paul Boyle shows examples of his research that uses administrative data, and highlights what kind of data can be used and for what purpose.
