PhD poster exhibition
Research students attending the Festival are encouraged to exhibit a poster about their research. Posters should convey something about the research student's research topic and the methodology they employ.
The poster must be A1 size, but the orientation can be landscape or portrait.
The posters will be judged by a panel on the following criteria:
1. Academic quality of content.
2. Communication of ideas in a simple and accessible manner.
3. Engaging and thought-provoking presentation.
The winners will be announced at the early evening drinks reception at 18.00 on Wednesday 4 July.
The posters can be exhibited from the afternoon of Monday 2 July onwards. Students attending the Festival should indicate their wish to exhibit a poster by ticking the appropriate box in the registration form when they register to attend the Festival.
Prizes
The winning poster will be awarded a £150 book token. There will also be book tokens to the value of £75 and £50 for the runners up.
